Financing

For those of you that are experienced in the home purchase process and go through it on a fairly regular basis, you know the drill. You more than likely have a lender you know and trust. That's great! But for those of you that this is a new adventure, or you are new to the area, or for those that it's been a few years since your last purchase, below I have touched base on the very first step of the process ... getting a home loan.

For Most of Us, Our Home is the Largest Investment We will Make in Our Lifetime. Making that phone call to the Loan Officer can be down right scary . but it shouldn't be, not if you approach it correctly. That's part of my job . to help you get your "Ducks in a Row". As a Buyer's Agent, I work to help you position yourself to be a Strong Buyer, which translates into Strength in Negotiations. My job is to work toward getting you the best possible "Complete Transaction." From Loan to Closing, there are many facets to the buying process. For each step of the way, I'm here for you.

Choosing a Lender/Loan Officer: Make sure you choose a Mortgage Company, Bank or Loan Officer that you know and trust or one that comes highly recommended! If you don't have a contact that fits that criteria, just let me know. I know Loan Officers and Companies that provide an array of loan products. Loan Officers and Companies that I trust, and am confident work with Integrity, Dedication, and Provide Superior Customer Service.

First Things First.. Work through Your Budget! Know Your Comfort Zone when it comes to a mortgage payment. Don't forget to figure extra dollars for upkeep and maintenance of your new home! Letting your home get run down is like throwing money out the window! This is your Home, but it is also a very worthwhile investment if you treat it right.

Second . Get "Pre-Qualified." You need to work with a Loan officer that you communicate well with. Someone that can counsel you in regards to different loan programs, how they work, and how different ones can help you obtain your goal of home ownership. You need to work with a Loan officer that is excellent at what they do and has an excellent reputation of honesty and integrity. You want a Loan Officer that is committed to Superior Customer Service!
